PRIORITIES FOR STRONGER SCHOOLS
SAFE SCHOOLS
School safety is my top priority. I helped ensure every comprehensive high school has a School Resource Officer, strengthened graduation security, and partnered with local police to promote e-bike safety and protect students.
COLLEGE AND CAREER READINESS
Students need multiple pathways to success. Dual enrollment, ROP courses, career technical education, internships, and industry-recognized certificates allow students to earn college credit, develop job-ready skills, and explore careers before graduation.
BELONGING AND ACCESS
A sense of belonging leads to better academic outcomes, which is why I support ALL students and have worked to expand athletic & arts opportunities, increase preschool & after school programs, and expanded support through a second family resource center.
FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY
I make decisions driven by what is best for our students and the long-term financial stability of our district. Under my leadership, we stopped wasteful spending on vanity projects and legal fees caused by the last majority.

Adopt, evaluate, and update policies consistent with the law and the district’s vision and goals.
Hire and support the superintendent and set policy for hiring of other personnel so that the vision, goals, and policies of the district can be implemented.
Adopt a fiscally responsible budget based on the district’s vision and goals and regularly monitor the fiscal health of the district.
Ensure that a safe and appropriate educational environment and facilities be provided to all students.
